ISLAMABAD:

Posters with photos of Pakistan’s Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir have appeared on the eve of September 6, the Defence Day of Pakistan, in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The posters praising the Defence Day were displayed in different parts of Srinagar, Kashmir Media Service reported on Tuesday.

The posters read the time is not far away when Kashmir will be freed and the people will get their rights, warning the enemy to “better quit its nefarious agenda and leave the occupied territory”.

Last week, the army chief called on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for a peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the security council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
