Military's media wing says killed terrorist remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities

Security forces on Wednesday killed a terrorist during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kulachi area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district, the military said.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which terrorist Habibur Rehman was killed.

It added that the killed terrorist had remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces as well as innocent civilians in the area.

ISPR said that a weapon, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorist.

“Sanitisation operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the statement concluded.
