KARACHI:

Judiciary is respectable insofar it respects the law and upholds the constitution, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf central leaders Barrister Sher Afzal.

Addressing the lawyers at the Karachi City Courts he said, "When a justice does injustice, he is not worthy of respect."

"We stopped calling judges 'My Lord' long ago and address them as 'Honourable', maybe we are heading towards an era when that term will become obsolete too," the PTI leader said targeting the judiciary for stripping the party of its symbol the bat.

Members of Insaf Lawyers Forum welcomed Sher Afzal Marwat on his arrival at City Court with shower of flower petals.

Marwat while addressing the lawyers said PTI was suffering oppression in Karachi as well. There is not a single active PTI member who has not been arrested, detained, or at least harassed by the police.
