TANDO ADAM:

The  municipal  administration of Tando  Adam is reportedly releasing sewage water into both the Tando Adam branch canal and a minor canal running through the city, posing a significant threat to public health.

The use of contaminated  water for crop cultivation is leading to adverse consequences, besides forcing residents  to  consume  water mixed with the sewage, risking their lives.

This alarming situation has led to outbreak of  various  waterborne  diseases including hepatitis, scabies, and stomach problems. Despite complaints from citizens, both the irrigation department and the municipal administration have maintained a silence on the matter.

The  situation  demands   urgent  attention  and  in- tervention  from  relevant   authorities to address the  environmental and health  crisis  unfolding  in Tando  Adam
