Henry Cavill's improvised Nazi-slaying scene steals the show in "Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare"

Director Guy Ritchie's chaotic on-set energy fueled the scene's unhinged brilliance.

Henry Cavill’s Nazi-killing frenzy unleashed in "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" – and his character's signature tongue-wagging was reportedly a spur-of-the-moment improvisation.

Director Guy Ritchie is said to have encouraged Cavill to go wild, resulting in the eye-catching moment that stole the show in the film's trailer.

"It was totally in the wild spirit of the character," writer Arash Amel told Variety magazine. "These were guys who lived to kill Nazis, and this scene just highlights that."

The film, based on real WWII commandos, embraces a blend of historical accuracy and creative energy.

Eiza González, who plays operative Marjorie Stewart, talking to Variety magazine praised the unpredictable on-set atmosphere fostered by Ritchie.

Cavill also emphasises to Variety the collaborative, family-like spirit on set, where ideas were constantly thrown around. This resulted in a thrilling, spontaneous feel that defines "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare."
