Actor and model Yashma Gill took to Instagram to post of her recovery after a recent health scare, crediting her family-like friends and coworkers for their ongoing support.
“I know I’m posting this super late, but the appreciation is long overdue,” penned the Pyar Ke Sadqay actor on her Instagram handle. “I was waiting to fully recover. I cannot begin to express how much your help and prayers made my worst times so much easier. You beautiful souls, inside and out, I can never thank you enough.”
Yashma did not elaborate the reason for her illness in her post. Focusing instead on her aftercare, the actor posted pictures of her hospital stay, and radiated gratitude at being on the road to recovery. Thanking her friends, Yashma singled out fellow actor Mere Humsafar star Hania Aamir for the lengths she went to in order to make her hospital stay as comfortable as possible. Tagging Hania in her post, Yashma added, “And to the one who stayed overnight and looked after me tirelessly YOU ARE MY SISTER.” Yashma backed up her words with photos and videos of Hania helping her eat and cutting up her fruit as part of her loyal friend duties.
To ensure that the rest of her army of friends did not feel left out, Yashma also went out to thank “the others who weren’t mentioned” from “the heartiest part of my heart”.
The comments section of Yashma’s post was flooded with well wishes, with actor Sunita Marshall writing, “Lots of prayers for your speedy recovery.” Others commented on how “loyal” Hania has been throughout, with others yet echoing Sunita in wishing Yashma a full recovery.
