A delegation from AirAsia Aviation Group met with President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad on Tuesday to discuss matters of mutual interest.

During the meeting, President Zardari stressed on the significance of bolstering Pakistan's air connectivity with other nations, highlighting its pivotal role in advancing the country's economic prospects.

Furthermore, the president highlighted the untapped potential of Pakistan's tourism sector, stressing the need for proactive public relations efforts to fully harness its benefits.

He said Pakistan has a vast market potential, particularly in religious tourism, adding that attractive investment opportunities are available in the Pakistani stock market.

In line with this, President Zardari encouraged investors to explore and capitalise on the investment avenues offered by the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The delegation provided an overview of AirAsia Aviation Group and its flight operations during the briefing with the president, furthering the dialogue on potential collaborations and partnerships.
