Sports Illustrated model Camille Kostek wants to clarify that she didn't become a cheerleader to date an NFL player.

“When people hear you’re an NFL cheerleader, they might think you’re just trying to date an athlete. To have to train for 17 years as a dancer — that’s a difficult way to get a boyfriend,” Kostek mentioned in a cover interview for the May/June 2024 issue of Maxim magazine.

She has been in a relationship with former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski since 2015, supporting him through multiple Super Bowl victories and showing no signs of stopping.

The Wipeout host recently left cheerleading to pursue a career in entertainment. Meanwhile, Gronkowski has retired from the NFL and is involved in sports media during the NFL season.

Born on February 19, 1992, to Alan Kostek, a general contractor, and Christina née Decosta, a gym manager, Camille Veronica Kostek has four younger siblings and is of Polish, Irish, and Jamaican descent.

Camille is known for her work as a model, television host, and actress, gaining recognition through appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and on magazine covers.

Kostek and the NFL player first met when he was a tight end and she was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots. Despite being in the same stadium during Patriots games, they didn't meet until they both attended a charity event in 2013.

In a cover shoot with Maxim magazine, Kostek discussed how people are often “quick to judge” her based on her career.

She expressed, “I feel like, at surface level, when someone reads a quick bio about me or they ask what I do and I say I'm a model or TV host, or they learn that I rose to prominence for posing in a bikini, they can be quick to judge,” Kostek said.
