RAWALPINDI:

Two innocent children were raped in separate incidents that occurred in Rawalpindi. One of the accused also recorded an indecent video of a 12-year-old student in Jatli and used it to blackmail him after uploading the video and getting it to go viral on social media.

SSP Operation Hafiz Kamran Asghar took strict notice and arrested the accused in both incidents. According to the police, the father of the 12-year-old, a student in the eighth grade, filed a case in Jatli Police Station, in which he said that the obscene accused, Muhammad Ali, took his son home, molested him and also made an indecent video of him being abused before threatening to blackmail him. Later he made the video viral.

The SSP Operation issued a strict notice on the serious incident and ordered SP Saddar Nabil Khokhar to arrest the accused. On the complaint of the child’s father, the police arrested the accused under Section 377, 506 and 292 PPC for blackmailing a minor by recording an indecent video.

On the other hand, the father of the victim in the other incident, who is a six-year-old child, reported to the airport police that the accused, Akram, took his son to a house under construction where he molested him. Police registered a case and arrested the accused. The SSP Operation said that incidents of exploitation of children and women were intolerable. He assured that the accused would be punished.
