Poultry sector seeks govt incentives

The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has underscored the pressing need for proactive measures to propel the growth of poultry farming and resolve the associated challenges within this vital sector.

Senior Vice President Sannaullah Khan, speaking as the chief guest at the Pak International Poultry Expo 2024, passionately advocated for government intervention to address the sector’s issues.

Khan, speaking on behalf of SCCI, pledged unwavering support in championing the concerns of the poultry farming community, promising to actively engage in finding equitable solutions.

He extended a cordial invitation to poultry farmers and industry stakeholders to participate in the upcoming SCCI Investment Conference, slated for mid-May.

The expo witnessed the presence of notable figures such as KP Minister for Agriculture Maj (R) Sajjad Barkwal, Secretary Livestock Dr Ambar Ali Khan, Principal Veterinary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Syed Masoom Ali, and Poultry Association President Raj Wali, alongside a significant turnout from the poultry farming community.
