The producers of the hit show 'Gen V' have announced they will not recast the character of Andre Anderson, previously played by the late Chance Perdomo.

Perdomo tragically passed away in March at the age of 27 in a motorcycle accident.

"No one can replace Chance," the producers stated. "Instead, we are taking the time to rework our Season 2 storylines as production begins in May. This season will honour Chance and his legacy."

Perdomo's 'Gen V' castmates expressed their grief on social media: "Our hearts are with Chance's loved ones as we grieve this shocking loss... you will be deeply missed."

The young actor starred in season 1 of 'Gen V' as Andre Anderson, a manipulative Godolkin University student. His character's arc ended on a suspenseful note, leaving his fate unclear.

Prior to his 'Gen V' role, Perdomo appeared in films such as "After We Fell," "After Ever Happy," and "After Everything" and the hit Netlfix series "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina".
