Since his coronation, King Charles has faced numerous challenges, both in his personal life and in his roles as a father, husband, and head of the Royal Family.

He is believed to want to commemorate the anniversary in a manner similar to his mother's, with minimal fanfare.

Charles' accession is closely linked to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and a series of tragic events.
The King’s daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton shocked the nation when she disclosed in March that she has cancer.

This revelation followed the tragic death of Thomas Kingston, the son-in-law of the King's cousin Prince Michael of Kent, who reportedly died by suicide at his parents' home on February 25 as reported by Dailymail.

And in April, ITV reported that Charles faced renewed attention on his brother Prince Andrew due to the release of the Netflix drama Scoop. The series centered on Andrew's controversial Newsnight interview regarding his association with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, and the subsequent fallout from sexual assault allegations made by Virginia Giuffre.

Prince Andrew withdrew from public duties following the controversy surrounding his association with Epstein. He settled a civil sexual assault lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre, a woman he had previously denied knowing, for a substantial sum.

As a result of the scandal, he was stripped of his official royal duties and no longer uses his HRH style. Giuffre, who was trafficked by Epstein, accused Andrew of sexually assaulting her when she was 17 years old.

More than 20 million people in the UK and millions more globally watched King Charles' coronation.
To commemorate the first anniversary of his coronation, King Charles shared a montage of "unseen clips" on Instagram from that day. Gun salutes will be heard across London, including 41 volleys fired at noon by the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery from Green Park.

The Royal Family invited people to share their favorite memories of King Charles III and Queen Camilla's coronation.
