Drug dealers shoot dead two in Korangi

Nisar and Muhammad Ali had filed a complaint against narcotics suppliers at the local police station

Drug dealers killed two in Korangi, Bilal Colony for filing a report against them at the local police station.

According to eyewitnesses, the Victims, 36-year-old Imtiaz, son of Nisar Ahmed, and 40-year-old Muhammad Ali were going home after closing their shops when three accused, riding a 125 motorcycle, ambushed them with a bike and knocked them down and fired more than a dozen bullets and escaped on Sunday night around 11:30pm. The suspect initially fired four shots at both individuals, then left. However, they returned after traveling some distance and fired at both of them again before fleeing from the spot while brandishing weapons. SHO Korangi Industrial Area says that the heirs will file a case of murder against the named accused after burial.

Imtiaz was a car mechanic and owned a car repair garage near Bilal Chowrangi while Muhammad Ali was a motorcycle mechanic and owned a similar shop. They have been friends since childhood.

According to local residents, the three suspects who opened fire were drug dealers and dacoits. Imtiaz and Ali had helped police arrest the three some time ago. The accused have killed both to take their revenge.

Eyewitnesses also said that Imtiaz received six bullets while Ali received two. Police recovered three shells of a 30-bore pistol from the spot.

Police handed over the bodies to the heirs after the post-mortem at Jinnah Hospital.
