Robbers and thieves continued looting residents of the federal capital and deprived them of cash, jewellery, cell phones and other valuables including motorcycles, cars and rickshaws worth millions of rupees.
Some gun-toting men approached Syed Mansoor on the Srinagar Highway in Sumbal police limits and snatched cash and a cell phone, thieves stole all four tyres of Nazir Ahmad Khan’s car in Ramna police precincts, unknown people took away Rs1.3 million from the property of Unar Hassan in Sector E-11, some robbers snatched the cell phone from Fida Hussian in Sector F6/2 in Shalimar police jurisdiction, while some robbers deprived Amar Ahmed of his cell phone at gunpoint in G9/1 in Karachi Company police limits.
Saqlain Haider told the Khanna police that unknown motorcyclists snatched Rs 27,000 from him, Shafiqur Rehman alerted the Khanna police that he was deprived of a mobile phone at the Khanna Bridge, Fazal Manan told the Noon police that unknown persons deprived him of a mobile phone and a rickshaw at gunpoint, Muhammad Naeem told the Sumbal police that unknown motorcyclists robbed him of a mobile phone and Rs125,000 in Sector F-14, Farooq Hasan Sikander told the Karachi Company police that unknown motorcyclists snatched his mobile phone from G9/1, while Sikander Javed complained to the Karachi Company police that unknown thieves stole his cards, Rs50,000 and ATM card from his car.
Thieves stole the goats of Maqbool Jan from Chhajar Mohalla, Mohammad Hafeez was deprived of a mobile phone and Rs250,000 on Green Area Chagai Road, Rehman Gul was robbed of a cell phone at Iqbal Town stop, Faizan lost his cell phone in the hands of thieves in Khanna police limits, Rehmatullah was deprived of a cell phone, car spare parts, motorcycle registration book and Rs130,000 in Iqbal Town, Thieves broke into the shop of Ahsan Altaf in Khanna police limits and made off with a mobile phone, gas cylinder and Rs130,000, and some robbers snatched Rs12,000 and a cell phone from Izzatullah in Koral police limits.
Sumaira Bibi, Adil Mehmood, Hasnain Shaukat, Adil Mehmood, Muhammad Wasim, Sajid Shah, Imtiaz Hussain, Ziaullah, Aqib Raza, Amjad Aziz, Zeeshan Khan, Afzal Khan, Muhammad Umair Shabbir Ahmed Riaz and Tahir Abbas were deprived of their valuables including vehicles and motorcycles.
