‘RAW agents’ remanded to police custody

Two hand grenades and weapons were recovered from their possession

KARACHI:

The Anti Terrorism Administrative Court has handed over two alleged agents of the Indian intelligence agency RAW, captured from Korangi Industrial Area, to the police for a three-day remand in the case of explosives and illegal arms.

Police produced the two suspected agents, Khawar and Jabir, with their faces covered under tight security.

The investigating officer said the accused are involved in terrorism and target killing and are highly trained for terrorist activities.

Two hand grenades and weapons were recovered from their possession. The accused used to recce the targets on the instructions of their bosses from outside the country and send the details to them.

The accused have also been receiving payments from abroad. Physical remand should be given to high-profile suspects for comprehensive investigation.
