The security forces have killed five terrorists in an intelligence based operation conducted in the general area of Mullazai, Tank district, on reported presence of terrorists.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday, “After an intense exchange of fire, five terrorists were sent to hell on the night of Dec 7 and 8.”
The military’s media wing added, “The killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against law enforcement agencies as well as extortion and target killing of innocent civilians.”

It added that a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was also recovered during the operation.
“Sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.”
