Prince William vows to support Kate Middleton through treatment for cancer

Prince William makes pledge as he returns to public duties for the first time after Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis.

Prince William recently made his first public appearance since his wife, Kate Middleton, revealed her cancer diagnosis. During a visit to a food charity, he received well-wishes from staff and vowed to "look after" Kate. 

He later visited a youth centre, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to public duties.

The Prince has reportedly been on a reduced schedule to support Kate and their children amidst her treatment. 

Sources like DailyMail's Rebecca English say he's aiming for a balance between public service and family needs.

Kate announced her diagnosis in March and requested privacy as she undergoes preventative chemotherapy.  

While out of the spotlight, she's continued working from home on her Early Years initiative and recently joined William in sending condolences to victims of a Sydney attack.
