Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision to relinquish their royal titles years ago shocked the world and reportedly continues to cause tension within the family.

Now, a new report suggests Markle fears her children, Archie and Lilibet, may resent her for their lack of royal status.

A source close to the couple confided to The Mirror that Markle misses elements of UK life and worries her children will feel deprived of potential opportunities and relationships within the royal family.

She along her longtime friend, "Suits" co-star Abigail Spencer, recently teamed up to support Alliance of Moms, a non-profit assisting pregnant and parenting teens in foster care. The duo met with the organisation's co-founder Kelly McKee Zajfen and posed for photos wearing "Love like a mother" t-shirts. Proceeds from shirt sales benefit Alliance of Moms' services, education, and advocacy for young parents in the foster system.

Zajfen expressed gratitude for Markle and Spencer's support on Instagram, writing, "When we speak about the people in our lives who lift us up... I think of these two. You inspire me."

Zajfen tragically lost her nine-year-old son, Georgie, to a viral illness and co-founded Alliance of Moms in his memory.  In a piece for People, she described the profound grief of losing a child and how her work with the organisation gives her purpose: "It has allowed me to... see what's in front of me."
