“Club Rat” creator and TikToker Eva Evans cause of death revealed

Julia Fox, a fellow New York City native famous for her role in "Uncut Gems," honored Eva with a tribute on TikTok.

New York City influencer Eva Evans’ cause of death has reportedly been revealed.

According toTMZ law enforcement personnel confirmed that the influencer had died by suicide. She was discovered hanging in her apartment on Saturday evening by a friend who had a spare key.

The friend, unaware of any mental health struggles Eva may have been facing, found a note left behind.

Eva, aged 29, was renowned for her active presence on TikTok and her role in creating the comedy series "Club Rat." Her untimely passing has profoundly impacted her fans, friends, and family.

Born in Manhattan, Eva's career was marked by notable collaborations with major brands such as Dior, Gucci, Nike, and Apple. She also worked with celebrities like Miley Cyrus.

“Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” Joy posted on Instagram. “After 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be.”

Julia Fox, known for her role in "Uncut Gems," also paid tribute to Eva on TikTok, “she was a TikTok star and a New York icon. I always saw her like a little sister and I know she looked up to me.”

Fox said as she expressed her deep sadness over Eva's passing. “That’s the kind of person she was, always sticking up for me, and she passed away. She was so young. Still had so much to do in life. But she lived life to the fullest.”
