FC IG lauds tribes’ role in peace efforts

Hassan says FC has rendered colossal sacrifices in restoring peace

QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Inspector General Maj Gen Syed Fayaz Hassan has lauded the role of tribes in maintaining peace in the province.

In a meeting with tribal elders in Sibi on Wednesday, the IG said with the support of tribes in the fight against terrorism, the FC has managed to restore peace and prosperity in the province.

Hassan said: “The armed forces particularly FC Balochistan has rendered colossal sacrifices in restoring peace and prosperity in the province, without the support of the masses we can’t defeat our common enemies”.

FC IG seeks public support for maintaining order

FC has been performing duties in remote parts of the province including postings on rugged mountains of Balochistan with an aim to ensure safe environment for the masses, he added.
The IG lauded the role of FC personnel in performing their duties with dignity and patriotism.

He highlighted that on the instructions of Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, FC Balochistan has been contributing its share in educational and health sectors of Balochistan.
